Malene Hasse created the interior design for the entire hotel. A labor of love she devoted herself to, in between evolving her own design company, which can be seen at www.homestyling.dk

Malene decorated and styled all the rooms. Her vision involved using the local handcrafts in conjunction with new, original floor designs, which now can be bought at the local factory. She also designed the furniture you'll find in each room.

Based on Malene's furniture designs, Ingeborg did the planning and managed the production, working with the local talent in Granada to make Malene's ideas a reality. Together they went to local markets and antique shops all around Nicaragua to give the interior of each room a lovely local touch, seen in pillows, ceramics and other decorative details.
