The initial concept and design of the Los Patios Hotel was created by Maria Gomez-Guillamón, a truly talented Spanish/Danish architect.

Maria has been teaching at the Royal Danish Academy of fine Arts, School of Architecture for almost a decade.

Her idea for "Los Patios Hotel" involved an intriguing blend of Granadian architecture, Danish design with a Latin accent. Hence the red tile roof characteristic of Granada, the Spanish style patios along with the clean lines and graphic minimalism found in iconic Danish designs.
